Jerk Chicken

Ingredients: 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste 1 teaspoon ground allspice 1 teaspoon packed brown sugar 1 teaspoon onion powder or 1 medium onion, diced ½ teaspoon dried minced garlic or 2 cloves to 1 head fresh garlic, chopped ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg ½ teaspoon black pepper ½ teaspoon ground ginger ¼ teaspoon cayenne pepper ¼ teaspoon ground cinnamon ¼ teaspoon dried thyme leaves 1 (2 to 3 pound) whole chicken, cut into pieces ¼ cup vegetable oil instructions: 1. mix spices in oil 2. baste chicken with spice mix 3. optional: marinate for 4+ hours 4. bake uncovered at 350 F for 60 mins 5. optional: broil for up to 5 mins to reduxe liquid for shabbat and/or to make skin crispy original recipe: https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/166292/perfect-baked-jerk-chicken/
